My Artwork for Sale on Society6

Over the years I've had people ask me if they could buy some of my artwork. And I must admit it can be difficult at times to want to part from an original piece that I have become attached to. One day a friend of mine told me about the website Society6.com and how it can be a great way to sell my art. Through my Society6.com account, Society6.com/HOMartistry I am able to sell prints of my Artwork. Society 6 also turns my artwork into other items such as phone cases, stationary cards, t-shirts, totes, and so much more! So make sure you check out the link!

My top selling piece thus far is my Marylin Monroe paining.
The Marylin iphone cases have been quite the hit!

How unique is this! My lipsticks painting is now an adorable pillow. Great addition to any gal's room.
Starts at $20.00

My Audrey Hepburn Drawing
as Stationary cards.

My latest painting "Sneakerhead"
is now an iphone skin! $15.00

Here is just some of what you will see on Society6.com/HOMartistry!

Back to Blogging! + info

Hey everyone,

A lot has happened in my world since posting my last blog, a year ago. Let's face it, blogging hasn't been much of a priority for me. However my beauty Vlog, youtube.com/bbeautymarkd most certainly has been. I have decided to pretty much revamp my blog in order to give more depth to my video blogs, as well as talk about more of my artwork. Also, I've been in new business ventures, that I am excited to share. As a young 25 year old creative woman who is excited about life, sometimes you just want to talk about it! And here is yet another platform.

I will be posting blogs that correspond with the content of the BBEAUTYMARKD Vlog videos such as extra tips and tricks, face charts, and more in depth information. Sometimes I find it very hard to say all that I would like in a short video. I love to educate my viewers with my acquired knowledge from being in the field. Let's be honest, I tend to skip over videos of people that talk too much. So here is a source if you are looking for more information.

As far as my business, HOM Artistry homartistry.com, I have been continuing to do art orders as well as freelance Makeup Artistry work. I plan to blog more about these business ventures. Sometimes I think that people may have forgotten that first I am an Artist. All my training started as an painter/drawer and that transfers into my Makeup Artistry. I think writing about my art and reflecting on art around me will help take me back to my days of study when my ideas were most vivid and I was constantly inspired.

Also, an exciting side note! You can visit me for services such as, Makeup Application & Lessons, Lash Extensions, Skin Care Treatments, and Facial Waxing in Berkeley, CA!! I would love to have you come into the salon to visit!
Email me for information and appointment booking: homartistry@gmail.com

Before ending this post, I want to give all my official links and contact information. I've made some changes to hopefully eliminate any confusion.

Makeup Artist at Shemar Moore Photoshoot

My own freelance is called beauty.marked in which I take on photo shoots, events, weddings, and fashion shows. This February I had an amazing opportunity come my way in which I was ecstatic about. I was blessed to be on the team doing a photo shoot for Shemar Moore. If you don't already know, besides Shemar Moore being on my top 10 finest men alive list, he is a well known actor/model. He currently stars on the television show Criminal Minds.
For the Photoshoot, and for all makeup jobs I do I keep a face chart journal to have a record of the look I chose as well as the products used.
I decided to create my own "face" for my face chart lol. (I currently work at Sephora so I combined there's with MAC's and put my own twist) So here is my page from the journal from the shoot.

For the shoot, I used of course my favorite brand, Makeup Forever, as well as Smashbox, and for skin care some Philosophy.
Products Used: Makeup Forever- Elixer, HD powder, Face & Body #18, Mat Bronzer #6; Smashbox- Pore/line filler primer, Philosophy - Miracle Worker Eye Cream

Enough about products, Let's talk ab out the experience! =) I had a great time and it was a good experience being on set again. Shemar was a very nice man, and the environment was professional, yet comfortable.

The photographer was Samuel Whitworth. Awesome photographer! check out his work
www.whitworthphotography.net
Samuel put together a great team of myself, a stylist, and a videographer.
Here's the video made from the shoot, definitely worth checking out!

So excited to do more shoots like these in the future.

And in conclusion, Here is a picture of me and Shemar.
